After a period of renewal and expansion of our entire product portfolio, the time has now come to bring our Fleet & Asset Management innovations to the rest of Europe, starting with the key market Germany. To this end, we have recruited Jacques Nieuwkamp as Managing Director Germany. He brings with him extensive experience in the German-speaking market. From our new office in Nordhorn, he will continue to build the team that can meet the specific needs of customers in Germany, Austria and Switzerland.
Not only have we equipped all hardware with the latest technical capabilities, but we have also rebuilt the software from scratch. We can now offer even more solutions for managing different types of vehicles, machines, equipment and other company assets of value within one platform. The platform is modular, so customers only pay for the features they use. Through the platform, they can easily switch solutions on and off and order and connect the various hardware units. This not only broadens our market reach, but also increases flexibility and value for our customers by offering cost-effective solutions.
With 20 years of experience in the telematics industry, we offer a unique combination of Fleet and Asset Management on one user-friendly platform. Our solutions stand out because all our hardware, firmware and software are developed in-house. We know what the pain points are in the market and have adapted the technology accordingly. For example, we use RFID technology with a long range of up to 1.5 km. Especially the solutions for easily automating the recording of operating hours, the automatic recording of CO2 emissions and the combination of Fleet and Asset Management in one clear overview offer value to our German-speaking customers. We are the partner for customers looking for reliable and scalable solutions.
Jacques Nieuwkamp, living in the east of the Netherlands, has been active in the German market since 2012 and has many years of experience in hardware sales in the tech and advertising industry. Six months ago, he started building up the new German operation at GPS-Buddy, including moving the office to Nordhorn. To ensure clear communication when entering the new market, German-born Maike Feser was hired as Creative Marketer and the first marketing initiatives were launched. Furthermore, a cooperation has been established with the Bundesverband Lohnunternehmen (BLU), trade association for Wage Employers in Germany.
‘There is great potential in this industry, and we are still in the early stages of this development. Today's investors will be tomorrow's winners.’
- Jacques Nieuwkamp, Managing Director Germany
