Use XT4
With GPS-Buddy, you maintain control not just over your trucks, but also your trailers. Outfitting trailers with an XT4R, our purpose-built trailer tracker, gives you real-time location insight plus additional vehicle data, such as axle load. For lighter applications or basic tracking, you can choose a smart asset tag, which automatically links to the truck once they’re on the road together.
Truck-trailer combination
With the XT4 and RFID tag, trucks and trailers are automatically linked within the platform. This allows you to see them as one combination with two unique IDs on the map. You can easily track which truck transported which trailer, even if the trailer was used by multiple trucks in a single day. Routes for both the truck and the trailer are also viewable separately.
