The gateway network covers by far the largest part of an operation. For equipment outside the reach of this gateway network, the AT-4 is the answer: a standalone GPS tracker that shows where an asset is, even without a gateway nearby. Think of remote locations, temporary deployments, or equipment you simply don’t want to lose.
For most applications, the Asset Tag is the first choice: low cost per asset, eight years of battery life, and coverage through tens of thousands of gateways driving across the Netherlands every day. For equipment that stays at a remote location for longer periods, beyond the reach of any XT-4, the AT-4 is the answer.
The AT-4 sends its position via 4G directly to Flowter, without the need for a gateway. You decide how often: from once a day to once a minute. No network connection for a while? Nothing gets lost: the tracker stores the locations and sends them as soon as the connection is restored.
Thanks to a built-in Qi receiver, you charge the AT-4 wirelessly. At one ping per day, a full battery lasts up to one and a half years. And when the battery drops below 15%, the tracker automatically switches to an energy-saving mode, so the position remains available right up to the end of that period.
You pair the AT-4 with Flowter yourself, via the app, without an installer or fitting. Then attach it to the asset and it’s ready to go. Thanks to its IP67 housing, that works both indoors and outdoors, in virtually any conditions.
Software and firmware are updated via FOTA (Firmware Over-The-Air), without anyone having to visit or move the tracker. Even when the tracker is at the most remote spot of the operation.
When an incident is reported along the course, the Challenge Almere-Amsterdam organisers need to know straight away which motorbike is closest. That used to mean radio calls and pins on a map on the wall. Now every motorbike carries an AT-4, and the event control center sees all 60 of them live on one map in Flowter.
The AT-4’s location data goes straight to Flowter, even without a gateway nearby. There it forms one overview together with the rest of the fleet and equipment: what’s moving, what’s standing still and where it is. This lets you steer on efficiency, compliance, sustainability and safety.

No. The AT-4 has its own GPS and 4G and sends its location directly to Flowter, without the need for a gateway.
That’s configurable, from once a day to once a minute.
The tracker stores the location data internally and sends it as soon as the connection is restored.
Up to one and a half years on a single charge, at one ping per day. More frequent pings shorten battery life.
